Update

Hello APTV Support, I have an Audi A4 B9 (2019) with the original Audi MMI system. My MMI controller has a touch-sensitive surface, which is fully supported by the car’s original system. In the original Audi Navigation/Maps system, I can use the touch surface like a trackpad/mouse. I can move my finger across it to control the pointer, select items, and interact with the map. However, this touchpad functionality does not work inside the APTV Browser/YouTube. I can use the rotary controller, but I cannot use the touch surface as a pointer or mouse. Would it be possible to add support for the Audi MMI touchpad in a future APTV update, so that it works similarly to the original Audi Navigation/Maps system? This would also solve an important problem with YouTube. Because my car has a non-touchscreen display, I currently cannot easily press the video controls, especially the Full Screen button or the button to exit Full Screen. If the MMI touchpad could work as a mouse/pointer, I would be able to move the pointer over the video controls and click them, making it possible to easily enter and exit Full Screen. I believe this feature would be very useful for Audi vehicles with a non-touchscreen MMI display. Thank you for considering this feature and for your work on APTV!
